Temporary road closure - Wawiri Road drainage works

Stratford District Council is closing Wawiri Road from Monday 10 February – Monday 24 February 2025 so we can safely replace a large culvert located adjacent to 130 Wawiri Road. The replacement is required for council to comply with the latest government environmental standards for freshwater

The alternative route, via Makuri Road and Douglas Road, will be signposted while works are taking place.
