Stratford War Memorial Centre

Located at 55 Miranda Street, this facility is suitable for use by small and/or large groups or organisations.

The full complex is limited to a maximum of 1,000 persons for any function. There are two meeting/function rooms for hire as well as the stadium area which has bleachers capable of seating 250 people along with 400 ply chairs and trestle tables in the attached storeroom. Car parking for about 100 vehicles is also available.

• The TSB Chambers (the smaller of the two rooms) is suitable for hire by groups of up to 30-50 people and has a small kitchen area. Hirers provide their own consumables. Forty five chairs and eight trestle tables are provided.
• The Function Facility is capable of holding up to 90-120 people and has a modern, large sized kitchen complete with commercial stove/oven, commercial Sanitizer, chiller and refrigerator. Hirers need to supply their own crockery, cutlery, and consumables. 120 chairs and 30 trestle tables are provided.
• The stadium has a floor area of 30.7 x 18.4 (562m2) which is the size of one basketball court. The stadium is ideal for indoor sports or large shows, fairs, conferences or functions. A concertina door between the Function Facility and stadium allows for various hire options.

Centennial Rest Rooms

Located at 1A Fenton Street, as part of King Edward Park including the Rhododendron Dell, this facility is more suited for use by smaller groups or organisations.

This older style building consists of two rooms and a kitchen is available but hirers need to supply their own crockery, cutlery, and consumables. With carpeted floors, heat pumps warming the rooms and curtains to draw, this facility is an attractive and reasonably priced venue to hire.
