The Community Development Team works alongside community groups and members of the public to:
- educate, provide advice, information and support
- identify and facilitate networking and advocacy opportunities
- empower groups through capacity and capability building
- support event facilitation, delivery and management.
Annual activities include:
- youth development, particularly through the Stratford District Youth Council
- positive ageing events
- administration and operational support for the Stratford Business Association
- delivery of community events and civic functions.
