Community Development

The Community Development Team works alongside community groups and members of the public to:

• educate, provide advice, information and support
• identify and facilitate networking and advocacy opportunities
• empower groups through capacity and capability building
• support event facilitation, delivery and management.

Annual activities include:

• youth development, particularly through the Stratford District Youth Council
• positive ageing events
• administration and operational support for the Stratford Business Association
• delivery of community events and civic functions.
