10 July 2023 | In June 2023 we completed a survey with parents and caregivers at Avon School, Stratford Primary School, and St Joseph's School. We asked how kids and families were doing the school run now, how we can make the travel to and from school safer and easier, and how we can encourage walking, cycling, and scootering to school. We had a great response and we’re using the information gathered to finalise our initial plans. You’ll be able to see these soon. Watch this space! |
November 2023 | Waka Kotahi have put new Transport Choices construction and implementation funding agreements on hold until the agency receives a clear direction on the incoming government’s transport investment priorities. Our detailed designs for Stratford’s Transport Choices project will be submitted as planned, and we’ll provide an update when we receive more information from Waka Kotahi. They have assured us they’re working as swiftly as they can to provide us with more clarity and to finalise the overall Transport Choices programme. |
