Youth Week | 20 - 26 May

Stratford District Youth Council has been checking the rubber duckies for water tightness, cleaning the skates, and getting the crime scene tape ready, as youth councillors help to organise three big Youth Week events for teenagers and young adults.

This event's for people aged from 12 - 24.

SDYC On the Bus is heading to New Plymouth for pizza and inline skating at the local Roller Sports Club’s international-sized indoor skating stadium.

The bus leaves at 5.15pm on Friday 24 May from the Stratford War Memorial carpark and returns at 9.30pm.

This event costs $5 per person with bookings through Eventbrite.co.nz. Skate hire is included in the cost.

  • We require anyone under the age of 18 to have parental consent. After you book on Eventbrite, If you're under 18, we'll email you a permission form to be completed by a caregiver. You can also grab a form at the Stratford Library and Visitor Information Centre.
  • Make sure you wear clothes that you'll be comfy skating in (and maybe getting pizza on).
