Stratford District Youth Council has been checking the rubber duckies for water tightness, cleaning the skates, and getting the crime scene tape ready, as youth councillors help to organise three big Youth Week events for teenagers and young adults.

This event's for people aged from 12 - 18.

Who killed the library assistant?

Murder Mystery Night, for 12 to 18 year olds, is first up during Youth Week from 4.30pm to 6pm on Thursday 23 May at the Stratford Library and Visitor Information Centre. This free evening promises an intriguing mix of youth-friendly crime, spot prizes, detective work, and snacks!

This little design competition will have participants harnessing their creativity to interpret Youth Week’s theme visually in badge form.

  • Grab a printed form at the library or download one from the link below. If you're downloading and then printing the form, make sure you print the page at 100% size / scale so you know you're designing to the right size.
  • Take your completed designs to Murder Mystery Night and then make your badge at the event. The library team will help you out.
