Where
Summer Nights, Stratford’s free annual celebration of summer is back on for 2024, in the picturesque King Edward Park.
Get up and dance at our concert on Saturday 10 February: Local Taranaki talents Mitch and his Guitar and The Mara will get us grooving to the sound of summer.
Kicking off at 5pm, you won't want to miss this epic evening of music.
5.00pm - Mitch and his Guitar
The legend that is Mitch and his Guitar will kick off our Summer Nights concert with soulful acoustic tunes. Mitch has something for everyone including covers from all our favourite summer jams plus his own original music too! If you like a bit of Ed Sheeran, Passenger and Zach Bryan – we know you’ll love listening to Mitch and his Guitar!
6.15pm - The Mara
The Mara weaves a vibrant tapestry of musical influences, fusing Latin American, Middle Eastern, and African beats into a symphony of sonic exploration. Rooted in the infectious Kiwi summer vibe, their performances are a celebration of diversity and unity, igniting an urge to move and groove. We recommend you come prepared for dancing!
Kai/food options
Food will be available to purchase at the event, including Pizza Pirates and The Silo food trucks plus Mr Kool and the Lions will be doing a sausage sizzle.
