Road Closure - Flint Road East

Council is closing a section of Flint Road East from State Highway 3 (SH3) to the A&P showground from Monday 9 September to carry out reconstruction works.

It’s estimated the work will take 8 weeks, weather dependent.

There will be no access into or out of Flint Road at the SH3 intersection during the closure. Traffic will follow a detour route via the racecourse road using Pembroke Road, Ariel Street and Regan Street. This diversion route will be signposted and the racecourse road will be controlled by traffic management.
