This forum, we’re focussing on local health services, tips for dealing with stressful times, and Stratford district’s draft Long Term Plan.
Guest Speakers
District Mayor Neil Volzke will give you an update on the district’s draft Long Term Plan, highlight some parts that could be of special interest, and talk about how you can have your say through the council’s consultation process.
Liz Fry, Lead Coach at the Taranaki Retreat, recognises that life can sometimes feel difficult and stressful. Liz is looking forward to sharing some tips and ideas that can help us get through the times when it feels like there’s a lot going on in our own personal world, and the wider world, too.
Dr Nick Loveridge-Easther will speak about recent innovations at Avon Medical Centre designed to enhance the range and accessibility of their community health services. The centre’s focus on giving people timely and appropriate care within a week’s notice, and the recent introduction of an Acute and Walk-In service, is a great example of their patient-centric model of care in action.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
