HAVE YOUR SAY - Draft King Edward Park Reserve Management Plan
Our King Edward Park Reserve Management Plan has been reviewed, and we’re seeking your thoughts on the updated draft Plan.
View the draft Plan and provide your feedback online at Stratford.govt.nz/HaveYourSayKEP or visit council’s Service Centre, the Library and Visitor Information Centre, or Wai o Rua – Stratford Aquatic Centre.
The plan is a community document which aims to provide you with certainty about the function, values, and management of our beautiful King Edward Park reserve. We want people to enjoy the park now and into the future. So, it’s important that you share your views on the draft Plan now.
Specifically, we’re seeking your views on the:
- proposed function and management of the different spaces within the King Edward Park reserve under 4 Categories of Walkways; Facilities; Playgrounds; and Sportsfields; and
- projects identified to support the delivery of the proposed changes.
A big thank you to everyone who provided input as part of this review in 2023. Using the feedback received, council staff and Elected Members have identified what can be realistically included within financial constraints and identified priorities for future projects. Please take this opportunity to make a final submission on the reviewed plan.
