Three lucky ākonga / students recently won a prize-draw and received a brand-new bike each, after their family members filled in our school travel survey. We were delighted to present them with their new wheels at their school assemblies.
Congratulations to Alan Poui from Avon School, Colin Franklin from St. Joseph’s Primary School, and Emma Bolger from Stratford Primary School!
Our school travel survey asked parents and caregivers how they were doing the school run now, how we can make the travel to and from school safer and easier, and how we can encourage walking, cycling, and scootering to school. We did the survey while we developed our School Safety Improvement Project to give Stratford's kids safe and active ways to get where they need to go.
