The Stratford district is full of go-getters, doers, supporters, helpers, organisers - you name it, we have people in our community that will put their hand up and do it.
We love celebrating these people and invite you to nominate your local champion for a Citizen Award or Youth Citizen Award.
Nominations are open now and close on Friday 26 May 2023. Successful recipients are announced in July 2023, with a celebration ceremony held early August.
The awards are an annual tradition and have been part of the fabric of our community for over 30 years. They identify local champions in our community who have shown leadership, inspiration, or dedication to a cause, contributing to the overall wellbeing of our district.

Nomination forms for both the 2023 Citizen Award and Youth Citizen Award (recognising our 12-24 year old champions) are available online here, and below, or printed copies can be picked up at Council's Service Centre and the Stratford Library and Visitor Information Centre.
