Sport NZ Rural Travel Fund opens to clubs and schools

Does your rural sports club or school team need financial help to get tamariki and rangatahi to local sports competitions? Apply now for our Rural Travel Fund!

Over $9,000 is available annually across two funding rounds; in February for winter sports and October for summer sports.

The fund can assist young people aged between 5 and 19 years. The purpose of the fund is to support access to local sports competitions, so regional and national travel is not covered.

Visit Stratford.govt.nz/FundsAndGrants for eligibility criteria and to make an application. Forms are also available at the council Service Centre and Stratford Library and Visitor Information Centre.
