Census Day coming. Stratford Library is ready to help!
- When: Census Day is 7 March 2023
- We’re standing by to help: 13 February – 7 April 2023
The census is a nationwide survey that happens every five years to understand more about life in Aotearoa, New Zealand. A census form needs to be completed for every person who is in the country on Tuesday 7 March 2023.
Stratford Library and Visitor Information Centre in Prospero Place is an Assisted Completion Location for the census. This means library staff are standing by to help you access the census forms, understand and complete them.
You may have already received your census by mail, but you can complete your census online. The library has internet access and devices you can use.
Bridget Roper, Team Leader at the library, says they’re there to help in whatever way they can.
“Don’t be scared by the forms. We can sit down with you and answer any questions you have about the census and how to fill it in. And we can even support you to answer the questions.”
“We’ll treat you and your privacy with care and respect,” says Bridget.
