​Wai o Rua – Stratford Aquatic Centre closure

Update 5pm Sunday 11 December:

The Wai o Rua - Stratford Aquatic Centre will be open normal hours from Monday 12 December 2022.
Our Monday morning Spin Bike class is unable to go ahead, but all pools and other group fitness classes are available.

We’re sorry to say that a few of our Wai o Rua - Stratford Aquatic Centre staff members are unwell with COVID-19.

Due to this we have decided to close our pools from 1pm Saturday 10 December for the remainder of the weekend.

This helps ensure we can have a healthy and well rested team rostered on for next week.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s in the best interest of our staff and community. We appreciate your understanding.

All existing bookings for Saturday will continue as normal, but there will be no casual swimming available from 1pm.

We hope to be open again Monday morning but will provide an update on Sunday evening.
