Are we on our way to zero waste?

Did you know that 61% of us are very or extremely concerned about how waste is affecting the environment?

Good news – 71% are very or extremely committed to recycling!

Results are in for our On Our Way to Zero Waste survey carried out in May 2022, in partnership with New Plymouth District Council and South Taranaki District Council.

The survey aimed to learn our attitudes, awareness and behaviours towards waste, what motivates us to minimise waste, and the barriers we face as we move towards our goal of zero waste.
