The Government’s Covid-19 traffic light framework ended at midnight on Monday 12 August.
As a result, you no longer need to wear a face mask at our council facilities, including the Council building in Miranda Street, the Stratford Library and Visitor Information Centre, and the TSB Pool Complex.
Although face masks are no longer required at our sites, we’ll continue to support those who choose to wear one. It’s also important that you continue to stay at home if you’re feeling unwell.
The 7-day isolation period for people who are positive for Covid-19 remains, and masks will continue to be required at some health care facilities, like pharmacies, hospitals, and rest-homes.
Thank you for your patience as we’ve navigated this challenging time together.
