Council services under the Orange setting
From tomorrow, Friday 3 December, Taranaki will move into the Traffic Light System at Orange.
Under this setting, Council public facilities will be open to everyone and will continue to have the following public health measures in place to keep staff and community members safe:
- People will need to continue scanning in using the NZ COVID Tracer App or by completing a paper based form available
- Capacity limits will continue based on 1m physical distancing
- People over the age of 12 must wear a face covering

We ask that if you’re feeling unwell, to please follow the Ministry of Health advice, get tested and stay at home.

Library and Visitor Information Centre
- Vaccine Pass not required.
- Capacity limits in place based on 1m physical distancing.
- To continue to keep our staff and community safe visitors must:
- be wearing a face covering
- record their visit by scanning in using the NZ COVID Tracer App or by completing the paper based form available
- Justice of the Peace desk is operating as normal on Thursdays.
- Library events and activities such as the School Holiday Programme will be operating with restrictions in place, please contact the Library for the latest information.

Open spaces
- Parks, walkways and playgrounds are open.
- People are asked to record their visits using a manual entry on the COVID NZ Tracer App.
- Public gatherings in these spaces should follow the Orange setting guidelines.
Council Service Centre
- Vaccine Pass not required.
- Capacity limits in place based on 1m physical distancing.
- To continue to keep our staff and community safe visitors must:
- be wearing a face covering
- record their visit by scanning in using the NZ COVID Tracer App or by completing the paper based form available

TSB Pool Complex
- Vaccine Pass not required.
- Public swimming is available except when there is a private booking, including Learn to Swim.
- Capacity limits in place based on 1m physical distancing.
- To continue to keep our staff and community safe visitors must:
- be wearing a face covering when entering and moving around the facility if not in the pool
- record their visit by scanning in using the NZ COVID Tracer App or by completing the paper based form available
- Event and gathering restrictions may apply.

Facility bookings
- Bookings for the Centennial Restrooms and War Memorial Centre are open with restrictions in place.
- Some bookings may need to operate using a My Vaccine Pass
