New Percy Thomson Trustees
An exhibition at the Percy Thomson Gallery
At the recent Percy Thomson Trust AGM on 17 October, the following trustees were confirmed for the 2024/25 year: Ellen Hall - Chairperson, Bruce Ellis, Doug Robinson, Deborah Clough, Helen Cloke, Annette Dudley, and Mary Bourke.
The Trust farewells Jim Clarkson, who has resigned after 9 years of service. Jim has been instrumental in the work involved at the Percy Thomson Arboretum and his knowledge will be greatly missed. The trust also filled an existing vacancy that resulted from the resignation of Christine Craig earlier in the year.
Bruce Ellis, who did not seek re-election as Chair, is staying on as a trustee to help with the transition for the new chair, Ellen Hall, who was nominated by Bruce.
Bruce has been on the Trust for 16 years and was a long-standing Chair during that time. It goes without saying that Bruce’s support over the years has been invaluable for the Percy Thomson Gallery, Arboretum and Herbarium, and his willingness to stay on for a little while longer is much appreciated.
