Apply to the Rural Travel Fund

The Rural Travel Fund can help get your junior sports teams to local competitions.

The Sport NZ Rural Travel Fund can subsidise travel to local sporting competitions for rural teams of tamariki and rangitahi aged between 5 and 18 years.

It’s not available for individual players, but it can be a real help to schools and sporting clubs who want to give their junior teams the opportunity to play in regular competitions away from their home court or turf.

• For eligibility criteria and an application form, visit Stratford.govt.nz/RuralTravelFund
• Applications close on Friday 15 March.
• The fund will reopen in September for summer sports.
