Craft a poppy to add to our Anzac Day wall of remembrance

Stratford Library and Visitor Information Centre invites you to create your own poppy to add to their “Wall of Poppies” in commemoration of Anzac Day.

Kate Fairhurst, Youth and Children’s Librarian, says your handmade poppies can be crafted of any material and there’s no limit on size.

“Hand crafting a poppy is a really special act. It can be a lovely time to reflect, remember, and create,” says Kate.

“We loved the gorgeous poppies that were gifted to us last year, and the stories that went with them. This year we want to add even more and make our wall of poppies grow.”

If you need inspiration, the library has a limited number of poppy craft packs available.

Please bring your finished poppies to the library before Friday 7 April.
