Citizenship Ceremonies are held each year in March, June, September and December. Once your Citizenship Application has been approved by the Department of Internal Affairs, you will be contacted by the Stratford District Council and invited to attend a Citizenship Ceremony at which you will receive your Citizenship Certificate and you will officially become a New Zealand citizen.
