As well as traditional library services, the Stratford Library provides a range of electronic and online resources.

Thanks to the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa, the Library offers a number of internet stations, as well as wireless internet access, during opening hours. Using the People's Network is free, although there is a charge for any printing.
What's on at the Library?
- "Tot Time" - stories and activities for toddlers - runs every Wednesday morning at 10.30 am during the school term
- Book clubs for children and teens are held fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons at 4.00pm during the school term
- Book clubs for adults run fortnightly on Monday mornings at 10.30am and Wednesday evenings at 5.15pm
