DISTRICT PLAN

The Stratford District Plan is the Council's major document for environmental policy.

The District Plan provides a reasonable blueprint for sustainable management of natural and physical resources.

A full copy of the District Plan, including the Planning Maps, is available from this page.

The District Plan is currently under review regarding how it deals with indigenous forest and biodiversity.

A discussion document is available for comment and public consultation.
