Citizens and Youth Citizens Awards

The Stratford District Council Citizens and Youth Citizens Awards nominations open each year in May. Nomination forms will be available from our website, or can be picked up from the Council offices and public library, when nominations open.

The Awards presentation evening is held in July each year in the Council Chambers. The award recipients are presented with a certificate, and members of the community attend to support the recipients.

Citizens Awards

These awards seek to recognise our local champions, people who reside in the Stratford District and have, through personal leadership, inspiration, or devotion to a cause or causes, made a significant and positive contribution to the well-being of the district and its citizens.

Youth Citizens Awards

These awards seek to recognise young people between the ages of 12 and 24 years who reside in the Stratford District, and have, through personal leadership, inspiration, sacrifice or devotion to a cause, made a significant and positive contribution to the well-being of the district and its citizens.
