The swing bridge in King Edward Park reopened last week following maintenance work being completed.

The work undertaken included re-anchoring the sway cables, replacing the decking and safety wire mesh, and the repainting of the arches.

The bridge, located behind the TET MultiSports Centre was erected in 1902 to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII and is part of Stratford’s Heritage Trail.
