Sail into the summer reading programme

The popular Summer Reading Programme has returned to the Stratford Library this summer.

The Summer Reading Programme is a free, rewards based programme, which runs for six weeks during the summer holidays.

The programme is designed for children aged 5 - 11 years. Children are encouraged to read for enjoyment, then report back to a librarian to tell them about what they have read. They are rewarded with a gift at every report-in.

Participants must be members of the Stratford Library and report on library books. You may report-in up to twice a week and when you have completed four report-ins you will be invited to the finale party.

Registration day for the junior Summer Reading programme is Monday 5 December. To register, call in with your child, after 3.00pm on Monday.
