Following a competitive tender process the Stratford District Council has awarded a three year roading contract.

From 1 October Inframax will be maintaining the districts roads with a work programme that includes resealing, road strengthening, kerb and channel, footpaths and road remarking. The $4million roading contract makes up 35% of Council’s annual spend.

Inframax Taranaki Area Manager Wayne Snellgrove says, “We look forward to providing the district with great service.”

Council’s Roading Manager Stephen Bowden says, “We are looking forward to developing a close working relationship with our contractor so we can provide a good quality roading network for the Stratford community.

Stratford District Council also thanks outgoing contractor Downer who have been providing the service for the past 5 years.
