This page explains our goals for the future, and how we're going to meet those goals. 


WHAT ARE OUR OVERALL GOALS?

In 2003 Taranaki's four councils jointly commissioned research to identify issues that Taranaki people saw as important for their future.

These included things like health, education, crime, culture, the environment, our infrastructure and the economy.

These issues were developed into goals called Community Outcomes, and are explained in detail here.  

WHAT ARE OUR 10-YEAR GOALS?

Our Long Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP) looks forward for the next ten years.

We create a new 10-year plan every three years, so that it is always up-to-date and relevant.

WHAT ARE OUR 1-YEAR GOALS?

An Annual Plan updates budgets, levels of service and performance measures and explains the reasons for any changes from what was in the Long Term Council Community Plan.

HOW WELL DID WE DO LAST YEAR?
