The Library provides services to all residents in the Stratford District. The primary role of the Library is to supply or provide access to resources to meet the basic reading needs of the whole community, and to build alliances with other information providers whose resources may be able to supplement our specialised needs.
The Stratford Library provides a range of electronic and online services. Thanks to the Aotearoa People's Network, a project to connect all public libraries in NZ to broadband, the Library offers a number of internet stations as well as wireless access.
Using the People's Network is FREE, although there is a cost for printing.
